I've fallen prey to a dishonest buyer.
In short I sold a pair of brand new sandals in perfect condition.
Buyer requested a return stating sandals were damaged & I should have mentioned this in the listing.
However my many pics showed them to be perfect & I politely informed the buyer.
Imagine my horror when I am sent a photo of "damaged sandals" ummmm wonder how that happened !!!
I stayed firm & kept repeating they were perfect.
Buyer then decides to blame the "post". But sandals were wrapped in original box so this couldn't happen.
Imagine my rage/frustration when ebay say they've sent her a "return label" & my account will deducted for the buyers total cost & return.
Surely this can't happen. Buyer is being compensated for her dishonesty & I'm being penalised for my honesty.

If a buyer opens a return, Ebay will expect you to accept it.
They don't see the item and will take the buyer's claim at face value.
It is all 'part and parcel' of selling on Ebay.

Ebay always believe buyers if they claim item not as described.
Best to accept case, issue returns label and refund on return.
You are lucky, if buyer escalates case to ebay, they often make you refund without getting item back.
If item is in good condition when returned, contact eBay CS.
But remember you only have 3 days to refund after return.
