Hi. So I recently returned to EBAY after a few years.
I set up for payouts to my bank account as it dosent seem to have the PayPal option anymore.
What is the random Direct Debit that has been set up? What's it for? I have recently sold an item and I'm confused about how the payout works, as it says you have to wait until item is delivered to get paid?? I don't remember it being like this before. Just linked PayPal and bank and that was it. Cheers for any help
Hi,
Noticed your account was opened 2022, so you may already be set up for eBay's Managed Payment.
List of the following needs to be verified with eBay (these can be seen if they are already verified on your Account information).
- UK Bank Account with the exact same name as your eBay Account.
- A scan of your UK ID e.g. UK Photo Passport or Driving Licence.
- UK Credit card.
- UK Mobile phone number.
- eBay will at some point ask for your National Insurance Number.
Any new or infrequent Seller as their funds from their Sale/s put on hold for up to 28 days. This can happen until your Sellers Ratings reaches a Score of 10, this can be seen in your Feedback section (it is not the value of your sales eBay are assessing, but how you handle your sales).
As eBay have recently started 'Simple Delivery', you can type in this subject on 'eBay Help' top of the page to find the process explained in detail (there is 24/7 eBay's Customer Support). The info will include how the usual payouts works with Simple Delivery.
