Deep fat fryer

I bought a deep fat fryer about 4 months ago and now I have had a warning letter about an issue with it that may cause a fire. I have stopped using it but the seller is not answering my complaints. What do I do?  Do I use it again or should I by another  (from a different place)

I would do a bit of research and make sure that the warning relates to the make and model you bought.

If it is clear that your item is unsafe, then the best thing to do is safely dispose of it.

If you received it less than 120 days ago, you may still be able to pursue a chargeback through your payment provider as the item you bought is not fit for purpose.  The time limit is usually 120 days so you may be out of time.
