Damaged in transit

Hi I sent an item via evri and have been told it’s “damaged beyond repair”  the buyer has obviously been refunded but I’m now out of pocket, I’ve contacted packlink but not heard anything, just wondered if anyone else had been there and how long I should wait to chase. EBay have said resolved but I don’t know if they just mean buyer refunded 😔

Probably means just that.

You must chase to clarify, as these services do not provide much protection for seller if any at all..

If you used eBay's Simple Delivery eBay are responsible for the refund and pay it themselves.   If they do this the item no longer belongs to you and eBay can decide how the item is disposed.    So you keep the buyer's payment so you don't lose out.
