Customs charges not mentioned in listing

I wonder if anyone can help. I purchased an item from Kazakhstan & there are customs charges of £122 to pay. This was not mentioned in the listing. What am I able to do?

As importer of goods, you are responsible for paying them.

Nothing to do with seller, they won't know which country is in until item sells.

If you refuse to pay charges,  you invalidate ebay MBG. 

This means you lose item and money.

Sellers cannot expected to know what other countries charge as import tax.    If you decide to return the item you may get a refund of the tax.   See: "If you’re charged too much or return your goods" on here:
