Customer makes postage query

Hi,

My customer wants to buy 2 personalised keyrings, she is asking if it's possible for her to pay for the postage of the 2 items in one packet rather than having to pay for 2 separate packets. She asks how to do that, what to click on in postage to do so, as a new Ebay seller, am unsure how to advise. Maybe someone here can advise. Thanks in advance.

If they buy the items at the same time, putting each in their basket (ideally on a PC, not the app) the postage will be automatically combined.

Even though you are a new seller, you do need to look at the difference between the types of account Ebay offer.

Because you are trading (buying to sell and holding stocks of multiple, brand new items), you should be selling those items on a business account.  Currently, you have to use Simple Delivery, and your buyers have to pay the buyer protection fee but can't return their purchases if they change their mind.  You will find it easier to offer combined postage from a business account.

You can have a second account for selling your own pre-owned items.

Do I need a business account?

If you plan to sell casually, such as selling items you no longer want, a private account is the best option.

If you want to sell large quantities, if you have items that you've made or bought to resell or if you already have a business outside of eBay, you’ll need to register a business account.

I have made a different post for this but it is very important.

You need to delete your CAPTAIN MORGAN listing.

Only authorised sellers can list alcohol on Ebay.  Otherwise, its sale is completely prohibited and by listing this item you are possibly putting your account in danger.

This is Ebay's policy.  Please pay special attention to the 'non-approved sellers' link.

  • You must be approved before listing alcoholic beverages
  • Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be sold by non-approved sellers
  • Collectable alcohol containers may be sold, but must be empty

In addition to the above by @jckl1957  you don't list allergens or an expiry date on the foodstuffs. This is also very important as I am sure those items will contain at least the following allergens: MILK, SOYA, WHEAT, and no doubt the disclaimer about being made near peanut etc.
