Hi
I have made a couple of purchase and BOTH items are counterfeit.............confirmed by the actual Brand. Seller doesn't respond and I am finding it difficult to contact eBay. From what I can see eBay doesn't really do anything about counterfeit goods and expects the consumer to send counterfeit items back to be resold....this can't be correct surely ?

To guarantee a refund, open item not as described case for each item.
Seller provides returns label, you return for full refund.
Escalate on day 4 if Jo label or refund.
It may seem odd to return item, but best way to get refund.

You don't need to contact the seller or eBay directly, but proceed this way if you are still in time....
You have received an item not as described, go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select... Return this item selecting the reason Item Does Not Match Description or Photos.
The seller needs to accept this case within 3 days and refund, if they want their item back first , they need to pay for that fully tracked return postage, then on receipt of their item they have 48 hours to refund you. If they don't , need to escalate the case, ask eBay to step in, and they'll force the refund.
Never listen to any excuse or promise from the seller to close the case early, and do not forget to escalate.
Open a separate case for each item if these were separate purchases.

Although you are reluctant to send the items back, it is the best way of dealing with a seller who is selling fakes.
They may have their goods back, but they have lost out on postage payments out and back, and Ebay do monitor and act on excessive returns and negative feedback.
You can give low stars for the item description and leave feedback to say you were unhappy with the quality of the item to warn other potential buyers.
