Contacting ebay for warranty coverage

No matter what I do I cannot get help with the warranty on an item I bought. I just keep getting in a loop.  I bought a refurbished Garmin that is not working right.  It was suppose to have a 2 year ebay warranty.  I have had it for 4 months. I tired applying at the Allstate form and it said I had to go to the manufacturer - which I cannot.  I CANNOT GET ANYONE to talk to,

Contacting ebay for warranty coverage

You cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt.  If they are not,  a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy,  to return the item for a full refund.

If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund.  You could try your payment provider you may just be in time to try with them.

If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this,  then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps,  if you wish to take this further.

Ebay did offer warranties on some refurbished items, done through a 3rd party.

You need to find warranty details at time of buying to know how to claim.

If ebay said that, looks like there was no ebay warranty,

Only seller one if UK business seller.

Ebay do not offer warranties at all.

If the seller advertised a product with a 2 Year Ebay Warranty, this was not true.

Ebay do advertise a ONE YEAR Guarantee on some refurbished items from some trusted sellers.

Details are here:

If the item you bought was listed as a 'guaranteed refurbished' item, there would have been a blue tick on the listing so you need to find the listing in your purchases and check.  The key feature of this is that you receive an email from the seller at the time of purchase which tells you what to do if you need to claim and lists all of the terms and conditions.

Can you share the item number so members trying to help you can have a look at the listing?

Just realised you are in the USA - advice from here is all relevant to the UK and you should enquire on Ebay.com
