If there are "Community Mentors" monitoring this forum, then can you please take notice of the huge backlash for the eBay Community regarding the new mandatory insurance and mandatory postage processes?
As a mentor, eBay should have been getting feedback from yourselves prior to making any substantial changes so you could state how you believe such changes would be received by buyers and sellers.
As this seemed not to take place, to really help all the sellers on eBay you can now use your privileged position to feed back up to eBay on the sellers behalf requesting these recent changes are either fully backed out, or made completely optional, not mandatory.

We mentors are not eBay employees, just vastly experienced member who give up their time to help others.

Unfortunately that's not part of our remit in the use of our valuable free time.

Unfortunately, mentors don't have a privileged position. We are just experienced sellers and buyers who volunteer to answer Ebay related in this forum to try and help other members.
I can't speak for other mentors (I know Ebay has a Seller Council and some mentors may belong to that but I don't know) but mentors are not asked for opinions or feedback. We have no influence over Ebay decisions.

Ebay does not want suggestions, or advice, they know what is best for members, or at least they think they know best.
Bearing in mind all the Glitches that constantly occur, when Simple (Inferior) Postage fails what happens then ?
