Collection item ended up posted out, now need a QR code to get paid!!!

I listed an item as collection as it was very heavy and would have preferred collection. However a buyer messaged me for postage costs which I gladly gave. We came to an agreement and he sent an offer through that I accepted. He paid promptly after.

Could not print postage label via Ebay so used Royal mail app and sent out Special Delivery. Now it seems Ebay want me to scan buyers QR code on collection to get paid.  Clearly this is impossible and I now fear I have lost over £400.

Has anyone experianced similar or have any advise

Go to the item in your Sold section and make sure the tracking is there.

If you cant do it then contact ebay and ask them to add it.

Not all members use the QR code anyway.

If you put the tracking on it should show as Dispatched. If not you go to the item and mark it dispatched yourself
