You still may be a little too soon to close your account, no transactions can take place until 6 months lapse, then you are able to close your account.
How are you doing this? If using the app, try switching to a laptop / PC , and try Chrome this seems to work well with eBay.
Then, on your homepage, click on the little arrow top left, beside where it says Hi *****. Click on account settings, then far right click on Close account.
If it does not allow you to do this, you are trying a little too soon. No harm leaving it open a little longer, you don't have to use it.
