Click and Collect, order is being prepared

Hello! I placed an order using click & collect, and the item was delivered to the place a few days ago, but it’s still ‘being prepared’. It’s my first time using this option on eBay, is this normal or should I chase it up? Thanks!

“being prepared”. Who is saying this?

You should have received a code from ebay and go along to collect. Without the code you will not be able to collect.

If choosing click and collect it is a good idea to find out what is involved first, you only have to enter click and collect into HELP AND CONTACT, top of most pages to find out how it works.

Thanks for replying.

It says it’s being prepared at the collection point. I understand the process with the code etc., I am just unsure if it should take days to be prepared once its delivered, or whether this is a problem/error?
