Cassette tape category not eligible for custom postage?

I have been selling music cassette tapes which are Large letter size weighing less than 100g costing £1.55 Since the introduction of 'simple delivery'  I have been using the Custom delivery option to overide the 1kg £2.70 Ebay cost but 2 days ago I was unable to switch to the custom option & thought maybe it was a glitch. Since then I have played around with the options & found I can still use custom option if sending a DVD,CD,Dat cassette,video game but not a music cassette! I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I can't understand why Ebay would single out cassettes? Maybe it is a glitch?

Any ideas folks?

Possibly the category you using causes this. Not all categories are allowed.

Looking at your listings they all seem to be the same category.

Thanks for taking the time to look,but all my listings were made prior to two days ago when the issue started.

Now I cannot create any new listings in the same category, it won't even let me relist 'ended' items using the custom postage option.

I have looked and can see nowhere that music cassettes are restricted. Cassettes are a sub-category of Music and everything else in the Music category is unaffected.....Cassettes were fine up until a few days ago,it

makes no sense to me why it would change!
