Can’t verify bank account during switch to business account – all info is correct

Hi,

I’m trying to switch my eBay account from an individual to a business account, but I’m stuck at the bank verification stage.

 

Every time I enter my bank details, I get an error saying the account can’t be verified. I’ve tried both manual entry (with sort code and account number) and automatic login, but neither method works.

 

I’ve double-checked all the details multiple times:

The account is a verified business bank account

The name on my eBay account matches the bank account exactly

Sort code and account number are 100% correct

 

It seems I can’t complete the switch to a business account unless the bank is verified, but it won’t let me verify it – even though everything is correct.

 

Has anyone experienced the same issue and found a way to fix it? Would appreciate any help!

As access to your account is required,  contact eBay Customer Services,  explain the issue hopefully they can add those vital details for you. It may take a few days for those details to be verified.

 

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
