Can’t select Royal Mail 87p postage

Hi, I sell Pokémon cards so they’re pretty small and light I’ve sold over 400 and I use the 87p Royal Mail 2nd class letter option as that’s what I send them in - a small brown do not bend envelope. I’ve always done this never had any issues but I can’t even select that option when listing now ? If I select the 3.90 parcel option which is not what i use then it lets me create a listing but I don’t use a parcel, and paying 3.90 postage for a 2.49 item is not gonna happen. However every time I try and select 87p, it appears then disappears in a second like a glitch… 90% of my listings are with this postage and they’re unaffected but I literally can’t list anything right now because of this. It doesn’t even say why this is happening. There’s no simple delivery option, I can’t set a postage policy with 87p that doesn’t work either, I’ve logged in and out switched between desktop and app, saved drafts- everything it just doesn’t work.

Tech have been working on the fix. Can you check your listings to see if you are now able to select the Royal Mail 2nd class letter option?

Yeah, it’s still happening, I don’t have an example because I listed them as 1.55 postage which worked but the 87p just does not work. I’m able to change the postage at checkout from a large letter to small letters which is what it is so there’s no change to shipping or class, but despite being able to select the correct postage when purchasing the label, I am unable to select this option when listing.

A ticket has been raised for another user who experienced the same issue. If you do have another future example with a screenshot view of what happens after you try to select the 2nd class option reply back here with it.

In the meantime continue with your workaround and once there is an update on the ticket with tech I will post back.

I have screenshots in order showing the postage option, me selecting it and then literally a second later it disappears, theres no error message or anything it just vanishes. The same happens on desktop, I also can't select the 87p postage option when creating a postage policy either.

Hi Kat,

I’ve just gone through and changed some of the listings on both PC and the app and it does indeed seem to be working now. I’ll list some more auctions later and see if it still works. Thanks for your help.
