Buying of Ebay

I've purchased something of Ebay, same night i purchased something similar which I got withing 4 days... The other item went to 13 days and I still don't have it...Messaged the seller and he says he's checked where he dropped it off and they say it's been picked up.. he says to me, dont worry, you will get it soon. This is a click and collect so I've chosen a designated place which was a BP garage because I work long hours so this is the safest option for me... Back and fourth with the seller who doesn't really seemed bothered..

I requested for him to ring Royal mail who was the delivery guys to find out what's going on... He says he will the next day.. Next night I messaged after now getting an update of delivery and it's says " Seller hasn't paid enough postage so where holding this at the Royal mail depot and you need a the card that Royal will drop off at your address so I I've been back to the garage 3 times to no avail and not once has the seller said he has tried to ring royal mail.. This is someone who has been on Ebay for a while now with good feedback BUT why wouldn't he weigh the parcel to get the right postage amount which is standard in my mind... So it's now the 15th of Feb and I purchased this on the ist and theirs no way I can pick the parcel up..  Buying shouldn't be this stressful and why has it cost me over £10 in petrol when the seller is clearly lazy and isn't bothered.

Have you even thought about using the Ebay 30 day money back guarantee, as it obviously has not been delivered to your chosen pick up point.

As postage is owing, and pick up point will not pay, you are never going to be able to pick it up.

Buying of Ebay

Hello their

The problem with this scenario is that the seller wasn't very helpful..

It's strange because he's sold and bought many things so you would like to think that he would understand the concept of weighing the parcel especially with it being a large item... It's just common practice to do this or unless he was hoping I would pay the difference BUT if he had put the correct postage, I would of still bought the item... long story short is, I got a refund and the item went back to the seller.
