Buying from USA delivery to UK

Hi can anyone help me figure out why I’m unable to purchase items from the USA to the UK , last week a purchase some parts from USA and the order went through no problem … this week I’ve tried two different items and it says I can’t check out . Is this a new , permanent policy ? Thanks

If sellers use Global Shipping, then it is suspended due to uncertainty about  tariffs.

Sellers who ship direct do not have this problem as any customs charges are collected before delivery.

Global in theory means no further costs to buyer, as every thing is paid up front, but with uncertainty this is not possible.
