Sold second hand double heated seat and driver seat for for transit gave pictures said they needed cleaning ,he said hes found a tiny burn hole which I honestly did not see it must be so small but fare enough,while he was here we told him that there was some paint on one seat that would come out with cleaning like I said on advert and can see on picture he looked and still decided to take them we also dropped from 350 to 250 from advert ,I have said I did not deceive him on the advert and when he viewed them. I have offered full refund if he wants to bring them back but he says he wants 2 times petrol to return aswell and then he said give me a good refund back so they can be valleted by a decent company than by some polish company his words not mine I feel that's not right as I said they were not new and pointed out they needed cleaning on the advert I dont know what to do as he is now sending me not very nice messages back what am I obliged to do please

Yes he did and hes now telling me the heated seats dont work which they did hes demanding I pay for clean or come and collect from him and give full refund I wish I had never sold them to him I really dont know my rights and he's sounding threatening do you have any advice who I can go to to resolve this I'm concerned hes going to continue being unreasonable TIA

If you dropped the price then you can't have sold these via eBay (items have to be paid for before contact details can be exchanged and collection arrangements made), so did the buyer pay you in cash?

 

If so, there's no way for them to reclaim it back from you, so any returns arrangement and amount refunded would be entirely up to you.

 

Personally, if he came to collect and could see exactly what he was taking away with him, even if your happy to accept the return I would not refund any petrol money.

I can't see these in your completed or sold items, I can see what you are describing still for sale at £363.68, are these the seats? So as @*vyolla* if the sale has been completed "outside of ebay" then there is nothing ebay or we can do to assist you.

Thanks for your reply he has now sent me more messages which arent very nice I'm an honest person and would never deceive someone and he saw them himself and still decided to buy so thanks again for your reply he now wants me to pay for a proper valet rather than return them despite me saying they needed cleaning and second hand and in his words not by some cheap polish company a decent company so I obviously feel he is not a very nice person I suppose I will just have to not be bullied by this man .Again thanks for replying

If he paid cash you have no responsibility to him. It hasn't gone through ebay . Ebay know nothing of the sale, and he cannot do anything. 

Tell him politely that you are not responsible and do not intend to help him any more.

 

Then add him to your blocked list. Blocked Bidders
