Good evening,
I posted an item to a buyer who has not been with Ebay for very long.
It turns out that she has accidentally added an incorrect postcode to her address details and the second half of her postcode is wrong (it refers to a different road in the same city) Evri cannot seem to understand what has gone wrong even though I have messaged them through their help-bot and explained what has happened. I am now stuck in an annoying loop where Evri cannot deliver the parcel…but cannot tell me when it currently is or if it will be returned to me? I cannot even phone them because the AI phone agent is saying that another member of staff is already dealing with my issue and I cannot break out and speak to anyone else. Going round in circles and getting a bit fed up…any ideas on how I can resolve this problem please?

Is this a Simple Delivery postage label that the buyer paid for?

Yes it is…she had registered her postcode wrongly on Ebay but only realised when the parcel could not be delivered.

If it's a Simple Delivery label and your buyer opens an eBay item not received claim, then eBay should refund her.

Do you know if the parcel will be returned to me or not…I took a photo of the label when I dropped it off at the Evri shop but my return address is not printed anywhere on it?

You'll get to keep the original payment, eBay will refund your buyer, so you won't lose out.
