Hi, I have had a buyer contact me. They stated in the message the items were recieved damaged. I requested image in order to process refund. Buyer said they didn't know how to do it and that they had already diosoed of the damaged Seedling. Prior to this message I had not had any communication from buyer that the items had been recieved damaged. Everybeffort is made to secure Seedling however on the rare occasion during transit they do get knocked about. I have given full refunds when buyer in past has contacted me with images of good that had been damaged in transit. Since buyer isn't able to provide proof and has already disposed of said damaged items what should I do? Hello, what's the full postcode for collection please?

A buyer does not have to provide any photos of a received damaged item but they do need to return the item if the seller requests this when opening a case for item not as described for a full refund.
Items should not get damaged in transit even on rare occasions, items should be packed very securely so they can survive a kick about for 90 minutes at Wembley, couriers / posties are not known for their delicate handling of items.
They do not have the item, but it's up to you, as you do admit a seedling could be damaged in transit , if you wish as a goodwill gesture to keep a buyer happy, and even perhaps return to buy from you, to offer some refund.
Your decision there.

I would refund without requiring a return. Because you are a business using a private ebay account and therefore not complying with consumer law, your buyers have almost unlimited rights to a refund anyway.
