Buyer requesting a refund

I sold and sent , safely packaged , a drone. The item was in perfect condition when it left my care , however the buyer is saying it is defective and he would like a refund.  i am unsure of what to do, because as far as i was concerned the item was in full working order when it left my ownership. How can i be sure that the buyer has not broken the item and is trying to get me to refund the item.

You can't be 100% sure, you can only take the buyer at face value.   If they end up escalating the case to ebay the odds are the refund will be enforced and that could harm your account.

Thank you for the advice.
Seems fairly clear, yet not great.
Item was perfect when I sent it but will probably be broken when I get it back.
No more eBay.
