Buyer decided to collect after paying postage and can't provide a collection code

My buyer made an offer which I accepted. They are local, so when they paid they clicked for collection, but apparently it went through as postage and they ended up paying for the postage. I have refunded the postage charge and they have now collected the item. However, there is no option for them to generate a collection code or mark as collected.

Am I stuck, or do I mark as 'dispatched'(obviously without tracking) and then wait 14 days for the funds to be released by eBay?

If the dispatched option is there you can use it but either way you will have to wait 14 days for the money to be released.
