I sold a chair on EBay and the buyer has been difficult about collection, initially only wanting to collect at short notice on the only morning in the whole week that I already told them I wasn't available. They said they were too busy to collect it or even arrange a mutually convenient time in the future. They then turned up without notice this morning, but without their QR code or 6 digit collection code which they said they didn't have because it was on their iPad? I said I couldn't hand over the chair without it but asked if they could maybe call someone to get the code but without any discussion, the buyer just started shouting and saying they would take a photo and message it to me, but they no longer wanted the chair - which makes zero sense!
I feel like I want to report the buyer or cancel the sale due to non collection, but I just don't know what to do for the best. This has never happened to me before; I really don't know what to do - can anyone advise?

What a difficult buyer! I don't think there is a "not collected" reason for cancelling but you can use "Issue with buyer's address", ie. too far away to collect easily.
If you want to report them on top of that here's info about that:

And put their ID on your blocked bidder list:

Thanks for the advice. I have initiated a cancellation based on 'unable to arrange collection with buyer', so that is pending and I've added them to my blocked bidder list.
I feel like I do want to report them as they were deliberately difficult and wanted me to simply handover goods without any evidence of collection, but I'm not sure that this constitutes EBay's rules to the letter and I might end up worse off as a seller. It feels like this is where the rules support the buyer more than the seller. I do feel strongly that this person shouldn't be allowed to take advantage of others though.
