Bought a kettle, burning mains cable

I bought a kettle off of eBay, used a few times then smelt a smell of burning, it could have caused a fire, the fuse melted in the plug,I've bought it to the attention of the seller, but I'm concerned that an old aged person might have bought one it could end with the death of someone especially if they don't notice it and causes a fire, I don't know how to raise this emergency with eBay , could anyone point me in the right direction

Thanks

If your seller is a UK registered business you can run this by Trading Standards.

If you're still within 30 days of receiving it, you can open an eBay return and get a full refund:

You can also leave feedback to warn others.
