Is anyone else having trouble listing Chinese items?
I have listed an antique Chinese bowl but the listing has not been visible for 24 hours although showing as live and counting down.
i have checked on numerous accounts and the listing is not visible.
ebay are blaming indexing but my sister has had problems with Chinese items and I’m wondering if anyone else is having issues?

It is not unusual for any item to take 24 hours or more to become 'live'.
I doubt it is anything to do with it being Chinese.

Thank you for your reply, it is appreciated.
i understand that in the Ts &Cs it states that it may take time to go live but why?
I have been listing on eBay professionally for myself and other companies for 20 years and I have never had an auction item take so long to go live.
I know from my own experience with eBay that something is not right!
sure it probably has nothing to do with the item being Chinese but I would like a better explanation than its indexing, is the indexing done manually?
There is no reasonable explanation given from eBay of why a simple auction item should loose over a day of visibility out of a 7 day auction.
ebay is by definition an online auction site, all the work of listing is done by the seller, for it to take so long to go live is criminal considering its eBay’s one job to provide the online auction platform.
I feel with other sites offering better eBay need to do better!
again thank you for taking the time to address my concerns
