Advertising on checkout page misleading

Has anyone got an idea where to report to eBay an advertisement on the checkout page?

It was for a cashback company that offers obscene amounts of cashback to lure you in.

The company is Swiss, and I know these schemes are not illegal in Switzerland but i am not sure about the UK.

My purchase without P&P was just £6.99 and they offered me a cashback of over £20.

They also don't mention if you sign up you have to pay £18 a month to get cashback.

I have 2 cashback accounts and I don't pay a penny to them to get cashback.

Advertising on checkout page misleading

You could try Customer Services but I strongly suggest contacting them very first thing in the mornings when the lines first open at 8 a.m. there's more chance of Dublin answering and as this is not directly eBay related,  you may get a more understanding reply.

To Contact Customer Services it's a Live Chat, or you can select to speak and request a Call Back. Click on this link:

On weekdays lines open between 8 a.m. and 10 p .m.

On weekends they open between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

You will not know if they do or do not take any action here, but no harm reporting.
