Account reset

Hi all.

Recently my account has rest like I'm a new member. 

My account now says I've been a member since 2025 with a score of 4 when actually I've been a member since 2006 and had a score of 600 + ,I've not got a clue how this has happened and now obviously I'm not a trusted member so payments are on hold when I sell or when I buy I've only got a score of of 4 so its like I'm starting all over again,  has this happened to anyone else or has my account been hacked I'm not sure at all so this is really putting me of ebay now and I'm thinking of not bothering with it at all together. 

Ebay hasn't helped at all there is no contact details and can't talk to anyone or get help with this can anyone help .

If you log in via Google account it can open new ebay account. 

Have you tried logging into original account?

Hi yes I've logged out and back in via Google and I have the app and its just the same either way.

I've looked at my emails and they seem the same with seller suggestions on items like its my normal account but my score has reset and date of account set up is 2025 I can't understand it.

I've tried going through ebay saying my account has been hacked but no joy.

Thanks for the help I've managed to get into my original account but
somehow I've got another account now and I've not even made it.
Sorted now anyhow thanks for your help.

FYI :- You seem to have unintentionally opened another account ? --- Reported to happen when using Phones /Apps to Login resulting in opening a 'cloned' account with lost history/missing/corrupted details.

Using a PC/Laptop, try to recover the Original account/history with a fresh login >  www.ebay.co.uk  <  Homepage login  and previous/usual email/Username/s/Password/s etc. --- any new account can then remain unused or closed.
