Accepting an offer

I have had an offer for an item I am selling however although I click on “ accept offer” a small square box comes up saying “accept offer” so the “accept offer facility appears not to be working. I’m going around in circles and there is no option available that I can find to contact eBay to see if it’s just a glitch in their system. I’m sure at one time there was an option to speak to an adviser.

Re: Accepting an offer

Are you sure that you do not have a ' minimum' set for accepting offers?  Check this on your listing.

If this offer is below that, or even matches it,  you will not be able to accept it.  The offer has to exceed that minimum you've set.

Ensure also the offer is still in time for you to accept they usually expire after 48 hours.

1 thing to be aware of is that when buyers make an offer it will be what they want to pay, so will include buyer fee, this means you get slightly less than offer.

Ebay do show a breakdown, but it is not always clear.

If seller makes an offer, ebay add BPF on, so buyer sees total.
