18 policy for buying certain things

Hi I can't clarify I'm over 18 to purchase garden tools because I only have a debit card and not a credit card so what can I do

I'm afraid for eBay there's nothing else you can do.  A credit card on your eBay account is the only method eBay approve off to prove you are over the age of 18,  the legal age in the UK to buy these items.

Perhaps can you ask someone you know with a credit card on their eBay account to buy these items for you ?
