why is ebay arbitrarily removing negative feedback ?

It is noted that ebay is up to some surreptitious tricks again, removing valid negative feedback left about a bad seller, despite this "feedback removal" option being rejected by the buyer. No notice given to the buyer that this company was going to arbitrarily delete all traces of negative feedback left, despite total evidence to show that feedback was vaild and true. What a shame we as buyers cannot trust ebay any more.

Ebay is required to comply with the the laws of the countries it operates in - including upholding provisions of Sale of Goods and Services Act - not give active assistance to dishonest sellers to circumvent the law and prejudice buyers.

Ebay shouts about how it protects buyers from unscrupulous and dishonest sellers, but there is so much evidence to the contrary.

It can be seen on this Community that I'm not the only buyer who complains about this, but it seems ebay acts like someone "on the take" in order to protect the wrong people, and their attitude is "the honest buyers can go to Hell" so long as we at ebay make lots of money, thank you very much. This explains why they hide their actions with silence and deception, then make it almost impossible for buyers to get justice.

Is this system becoming corrupt? If it is, there are a lot of responsible people who should be sacked, and hang their heads in shame at betraying the company, and the users it should be protecting.
