Hi,
I saw a lamp i liked, it was a bid or make offer option.
I made an offer which was declined, fair enough.
I waited 7 days to see how it went.
I bid & won the item, Yey !, I then paid.
Woke up to find that the order had been cancelled, Wat !
This was due to the item being lost or damaged. Really ?
Clearly the seller didn't like the price.
The item was fine throughout the sale period & safely tucked up,
On the day that it sells & is paid for it's suddenly lost or damaged, What are the chances ?
I was not asked to cancel the sale by the seller & I'm not able to leave feedback
The 'Seller's' feedback stays intact, I don't have the item I won fair n square, very frustrating
I want to let other ebayers know that this 'seller' will not honour the agreement & save them time
& disappointment
Thanks
Fred
eBay do not like disappointed buyers, so the seller will still pay a seller fee, and if they sent you a cancellation request citing buyer requests to cancel, you can call ive Chat via ther Help & Contact tab above, deny this was the case, the seller will be charged, and a damaging defect given to the seller's account.
It's unfortunate , but nothing to enforce a seller to send out a paid for item, however, gain one or two more defects and a seller can be banned permanently from their site.
If you go to your feedback page you should be able to leave feedback through the feedback forum, top left.
