verifying my age

how do i proof my age when buying from certain sellers? 

I am asked to verify my age via link i haven't got the means to do this, i am 67 years old born 1953 my email address is a give away for the year that i was born, i have to order through my friend who is the same age as me he has no problems with my purchases, i have been buying from ebay for many years. please advise

Logic does not come into ebay thinking.To buy knives / cutlery for example it is the law that buyer must be over 18.

Simple to do you must add  a Credit Card to your financial information in ACCOUNT on Ebay.

Your friend must already have a Credit card on file.
