Has anyone else had the joy of using the Global Shipping Centre (GSC) or Great for Swindling Customers? I have sent a parcel via Royal mail 1st class Signed for to the GSC where it was received and signed for. At this point the item goes "missing" and the buyer is issued a refund. All of the above is true and as it should be. The problem is that the refund was issued from MY account and I would like to know why when I have not "lost" the item. Responsibility for it passed to the GSC when their employee signed for it, something that was confirmed by an ebay agent that I spoke to. She has assured me that I will get my money back but this has not happened yet so I will have to make another call to ebay, at my cost, to try to recover my funds. The question is, why did the GSC take the money from my account when their own system would have told them that they had the item? Suspicious?
