I have sold a  large item and my payment been put on hold untill I post iterm.

The customer is picking up item, so i'll not have a post receite so does anybody know what I do. As I can not let them pick up as there no proof. Any advice as I'm new

For collection items you should ask for cash on collection but it is too late now.

The buyer should have received a code to scan when they come to collect or a number 

If they dont then print of the invoice page and both of you sign it. You should probably do one each

You have to allow the buyer to collect if they have paid

Many dont get the code but you can mark it as Dispatched under Orders on the Seller Hub

Thanks, I did ask for cash but customer decided to pay online

That is a shame but nothing you can do about it. Hopefully everything will be fine
