selling limits

I'm a new seller, so ebay won't let me sell more than 100 items a month. I've sold 52, but they won't let me bump up the 'numbers available' box at all, not to the 80 I originally put or the 100 they said I was allowed.  Is this a site glitch or does it come under some rule or other ?

Ebay are probably waiting for you to register as a business seller on ebay as your trading as one!!

O, ok.... I first listed stuff years ago as a business (then stopped, also years ago) and stuff they send me now goes along with that. Maybe I need to formally confirm that I am a business seller. Thanks
