seller phone number

How do I find the seller's phone number? The guides say to look up members in Advanced Search but there is no such category or heading. Even when I put seller's details in search I get 'no results found' while the seller clearly has items for sale.

I think eBay pages are confusing, misleading and have broken links.

I bought an item from a seller 2 months ago that was promised to be delivered within a week. He did not have a tracking number and no item arrived. He refunded me with no problems and no disputes. He was very good about it.

The item arrived yesaterday, 2 months after the purchase and a month after I was refunded. I have been trying to get in touch with him to let him know the item has arrived and to facilitate payment. I have sent him 2 messages but have not heard from him. While the item was missing he was in constant contact.

I am looking to find his phone number to text him about receipt of the item (incase there is a problem with his messaging system)

you haven't been able to search for a sellers phone number using 'advanced' for a long time,

I think you must have accessed some very old 'help' pages,

did you go through ebays 'help & contact' at the top of the page or did you use 'google'?

google will give very out of date results

do you want to keep the item?

if so, log into your paypal account and find the payment and refund, there should be enough details there for you to either contact the seller using his email address, or just return the money.

or you can go to the sellers profile page by clicking on their ID and using the contact seller option there.
