is it possable to safely sell to russia and china. seller protection
My first ever sale as an eBay seller was to a buyer from Russia, and I didn't end up regretting it. The item was a CD - it got delayed a bit as a result of the Russian Customs service holding onto the item, but once the buyer enquired about it from his end he was able to get the item and confirmed that he'd got it and left me some positive feedback. Having said that, this actually took place before eBay implemented their badly thought out Defect policy, so if it had been after the Defect policy was introduced then I may have received a defect for late delivery, but as it was the buyer just replied to my original "Your item has been posted and should be with you soon" e-mail and resolved the matter that way without ever opening a case in relation to the item. If only all buyers were so patient and understanding then this site would be a much better place to do business.
Anyway, in relation to the original question you should have Seller Protection if you sold to Russia and/or China, although I'd recommend sending the items via a fully tracked and signed for international postage service just in case something goes wrong and you end up with a case opened against you.
