hey there. never used this forum before.

ive ordered an item in early hours of the morning, and then realised, at 4am that i didnt need the item. i requested a return via sending a message.

i dont understand how you cant stop a computer or human person sending the item out. where in the other hand the order can be despatched..even when an order is recieved to despatch, the mail man will not come till around 4pm or 5pm to collect the last order, so you had a whole day to follow this up and chase is and you did not..I do not see on your listing where it says that I cannot cancel an order .

the seller says its too late basically and wants me to pay for returns postage ..

The seller replied midday saying they use 3rd party company to fulfil the order...err so tell the 3rd party company not to despatch it ?

How can you return an item you haven't received?

If it was UK business seller, you can cancel, but if non UK or private seller, you don't have right to cancel.

I know you tried to contact seller ASAP, but they can either open unpaid case or agree to cancel.

Yes, UK seller. I ordered 2am and cancelled 4am. Seller said too late when they replied, and expects me to return the item at my cost

Not on ebay you can't, unless seller agrees.
