I have received an item not as described. Seller has agreed to pay for return first class postage only and expects me to make up the difference if I send it recorded delivery. What do other members advise please
First make sure you open a not as described case
Request that the seller issue you with a prepaid returns label (point out that if the choose to send an untracked label that under eBay policy it is at their risk & all you need is to supply proof of posting to guarantee a refund)
If the seller declines to issue a label then escalate the case after 8 days & eBay will issue the label & charge it to the seller.....it will be a tracked label !!
Do not accept the promise of reimbursement for postage either as eBay cannot force a seller to refund more than your original Paypal paymernt
