I bought a pair of shoes advertised as size 6. They arrived but in the shoe states size 5. The seller told me to start a return case and they would refund. They said, as they were really cheap, not to return but donate them (I will when charity shops open) BUT they only refunded the cost of the shoes (£3.00) not the £3.79 I had to pay for postage. Because they gave a refund, ebay closed the case. What do I do now? Ebay are the most difficult company to contact!! I have contacted the seller but they have continued to ignore me
You needed to open a "not as described" [not a "return"] case in the resolution centre. If you had done so you would get a post paid label and returned the item for a full refund. The seller has the opposrtunity to refund in full including postage without return. He has pobably made a "partial refund". If eBay has closed the case then there is nothing more you can do with eBay.
My own feeling is that for the extra £3.79 it is probably not worth going any further.
