refund not showing on e-bay

can someone please help.

I sold a item that wasn't paid for and a case opened up after four days.

The buyer then paid but decided the item was the wrong size for them and asked me to refund on paypal which I did.

But e-bay still want me to send as they don't appear to know i have refunded on paypal.

Wait for the refund to clear then you should be able to issue a cancellation on ebay.
