refund Charges

i recently sold an item to a buyer in Ireland , due to the new laws ie import duty and additional courier charges to costs were to expensive to send the item , i requested a refund which was processed , only to find ebay have charged me a non refundable fee !!

its only a small amount but its the shear principle that this new system is purely out to rip us off, by changing from a paypal paid service where you could contact someone 24/7 to a live chat that has no idea on what they are doing and are near impossible to get hold of.

changing from paypal on a sale of £25 ive made 3p yet to refund someone ebay have charged me 30p.since when has it become common practice to charge someone for not selling something.

When a seller cancels a transaction eBay refunds the selling fee but not the 30p transaction fee,Paypal don't refund anything anymore.
