If you are under eBay's Managed Payments, then you will just receive the one email from eBay to say an item is sold. No Paypal involvement, so no email from them. Being Friday and eBay's maintenance day some things do go awry , if an email was not sent , it might arrive later.
The new Seller Hub? It's certainly different, but use the Customise link top right of the page, tick and bring over only the columns of information you wish to see on your homepage. Makes it less cluttered, and easier to navigate around.
