Hi, I requested a refund for an article that was defective. I went through the route 'return an item'. I have received the full refund, do I still return the item? I've not been paid for trturn postage.  Thanks

If you opened the correct case, Not As Described, the seller should have provided a return label. If you just opened a return, then you pay return postage.

Strictly seller should not have refunded before return, if he wanted the item back. 

It is now up to you, there is no way the seller can force a return, and if the seller should pay return postage for Not A Described then he should send you the postage.  If you pay there is no way to get the postage refunded.

I would see if seller asks for return , then sort out the postage with him.

Once case is closed, ebay won't expect you to return item.

Best to politely contact seller & say "happy to return item if they supply label or payment to cover postage"

That way it is up to seller.
