i made a bid 11:59.28 and somone made a auto matick bid but it did not come up on the system i was the last one at this time and he had a highr bid before 11 59.18 but did not regestart on the system who shell win this item i dont think its right as i was the last to bid with the time and be course made auto bid he comes before me

but if the system would of show me the bid more i would bid more

it's not the last person who bids that wins it's the person who placed a bid for the highest amount first

automatic bids only show one increment higher than the previous bid,

as soon as you bid it triggered another increment

go to the bid history page by clicking on the number of bids to see when the winning bid was placed

you mite be right but can i ask you if you bid for a item and no one bids against you would you go more up just like that no so if by 1159.28 no one came higher whether the auto bid was to slow as you can see its not on the log time then i think the last one on the time is the winner i did not even see the amount of 255 looks the system dose not work that quick but i cant be responsible for that i know if you bid 12pm with a lot more its not helping as its to do with the time as well with the money but time is the most importen and if i would see a bid more then me i would of bid against that

you don't understand how ebay works


the highest bid wins, no matter when it was placed


you are supposed to decide the maximum you are willing to pay, the absolute max, not the 'I might bid higher' max


you then place one bid at that amount,


the auto bid system then bids for you until you are either outbid or you win the item


the bid that beat you wasn't an automatic bid, the person bid manually 10 seconds before you did.

Better to put on your highest bid once, rather than keep upping it.
That way if you lose, someone else was willing to pay more.
Some buyers use snipeing software to automatically bid in last second, but doesn't mean they will win if your bid was higher.
