Hello,
Could someone help me?
why i dont be able to bid articles, it shows me this message:
"You’ve reached a temporary buying restriction.
You can only buy items where you can pay immediately at checkout. To continue, find an item with an immediate payment method and click on the “Add to Cart” button in the listing."
How can i solve this problem.
It isn't a problem as such. eBay impose restrictions on new and occasional buyers to try and prevent inexperienced members from getting in too deep and ending up with more items to pay for than they can afford. Included in the limit and treated as 'unpaid' are:-
All recently cancelled transactions
All items won but genuinely not yet paid for
All ouststanding bids on live auctions - you can still win if someone's bid is cancelled or retracted and these 'unpaid' items will not appear in the basket.
From what you say, you are still able to use the buy-it-now facility but will be shown the 'immediate payment' screen.
As you build up a good track record for responsible bidding/buying then eBay will ease the limit, it will eventually be lifted altogether. In the meantime, if you are able to bid on auctions then the trick is to bid just once, bid your absolute maximum and bid as close to the end as possible. If you win then pay promptly.
Good luck.
