"Payment Pending"

Hi,

I won an item today and paid for it immediately as I usually do with PayPal. The payment says it was approved but then it  appeared as "payment pending" and finally asked me to pay again as it didn't work. I have tried paying this way several times. I then tried using my card (not through PayPal) and even tried paying using my computer instead of the app. However, none of this has worked and every time the "payment pending" appears and then asked me to pay again. I have used PayPal on other websites with no problem today and have even re-linked it to eBay but nothing is working. 

Can anyone suggest what I can do next?  I am a little worried as I know there is only 4 days to pay for an item and I really don't want to lose out!

I would have thought the logical thing to do is ask Paypal. Trying many times and different methods is very risky as you could suddenly find they have all taken place.

I assume that the seller does accept Paypal, it should be in the payment methods on the seller's item.

Have you contacted the seller as the problem could be at his end?
