I know there are other posts on this, but not specifically covering my experience.
About a couple of months ago, there was a couple of items I was very interested in, but there was only one photograph of one side of the Triang carriages and I wanted to know if 1/. they could supply a photo of the other side and/or confirm that the decals were as good as the one shown, and 2/. did they combine postage as they wanted to charge £4.20 on an item listed at £3.99, which is extortionate – I have two almost identical carriages and the two together with packaging would only come to £1.75. So, £8.40 was taking the Michael.
So, nothing. Tried a couple of more times – nothing. No reply. Gave up.
The carriages didn’t sell (not surprising), and now they have been offered again – same price, same post and packing. So what do I do? Use the “Contact Seller” again, but this time it doesn’t work as the seller seems to have put a block on queries. What is the point of that?
And as for eBay’s Contact Us for Help…………well, that’s just a blinking farce, as you go round the houses and finish up where you started from. Has any one ever had help from eBay’s help? Is there anyone on the eBay so called "help desk"?
