Advice from experienced sellers? I have bought more than sold on ebay over the years, so not sure how to maximise your chances of a good price for an expensive item of furniture sold via auction? I have a good feedback.   I want to sell a piece of furniture in great condition, which cost me a lot new.  Is it best to start the price quite low, and set a buy it now price for the minimum I would accept so it doesnt go for next to nothing? I left negative feedback for a seller as the item didn't fit properly and was willing to forget about the experience and put it down to a lesson learned  I was later contacted by the seller who persuaded me to alter the feedback to positive and then they would immediately send me a refund They said that I had to do the feedback review first as they have had people who had accepted a refund and then not reviewed the feedback as promised After I did the feedback review they were going to send the refund within a minute and no other restrictions were made, but when I told them I had done so they started making other demands and have not made the refund Is there anything I can do about this  As I said in the beginning they contacetd me I didn't contact them as I was prepared to write it off, the money isn't important but I just wonder how many others they've dumped into giving them positive feedback ... Hi there, ive won the ebay auction of item number:  the buyer has left me a negative statement on my feedback 'as a buyer'   I called him to arrange pickup of the car and he insisted for me to  leave him a deposit which I didn't agree to! due to the fact  i was spoken to very arrogantly!   I've just realised the seller sold the car out of ebay a few days before the auction ended and now the same car has been advertised on facebook!   i really don't know what do about the negative statement his left!   Please Help!   Kind Regards   ... Had my account hacked & the hacker sold a item through my account. Apparently buyer was refunded but left me neutral feedback & Ebay say I do not qualify to have it removed. I recently placed an item up for sale by auction and clearly marked the item for collection in person only and stated that I do not post. The winner of the auction has an address that is hundreds of miles away and is clearly not going to collect the item and paid using paypal.. In fact when the buyer contacted me they asked me to post aand they would pay the postage fee. When I said I wouldnt post the item the buyer wanted to arrange for a courier to collect the item.
