When eBay decided to send payments to sellers direct rather than PayPal, we had to set up our bank details. I did this with one digit wrong in the sort code. I corrected this after the first payment failed to make it to my bank. Since April I have been chasing eBay for them to pay into the correct account but I'm in an endless loop of customer services saying they will escalate to the highest level and 'give us 3-5 days to update you'. They never do; I have to jog them to update me then they say the same things. The incorrect sort code was used on another bank account for a payment and it was returned to the bank within 2-3 days. Ebay have had the payment returned to them but I can't get through to the proper dept to sort. 2.5 months on and I would never have thought it would be this long. I've been with them since 2002 but I'm considering closing my account with them but not until I've received my outstanding payment. What can I do to resolve this? Any help would be much appreciated!
